Take the pre-screening questionnaire

To begin the application process for the Clean Hydrogen Investment Tax Credit (ITC), take the pre-screening questionnaire to verify some elements of your basic eligibility as a taxpayer and the basic eligibility of the project plan itself. This is only a preliminary step, and the questionnaire should not be regarded as an eligibility determination tool. For a full list of detailed eligibility criteria, please consult section 127.48 of the Income Tax Act.

This questionnaire should only take a few minutes to complete and will provide an automated response. The information received through the questionnaire by NRCan may be referenced against submitted project plans.
