Special XRF Examination Centres
Awareness of and compliance with the COVID-19 and health and safety protocols at training organizations/examination centres: Prior to booking training courses or examinations, clients should verify that they have the most up-to-date information about any local or specific health and safety protocols/requirements in place at the applicable training organization and/or examination centre.
X-ray fluorescence (XRF) examinations can be done at one of three types of examination centres:
- Authorized Examination Centres
- Special Written Examination Centres
- Special XRF Examination Centres
Special XRF Examination Centres (SXECs), similar to Authorized Examination Centres, have an inventory of XRF analyzer operator examination papers. In addition to invigilating these examinations, SXECs can:
- Conduct written XRF examinations in various in-field locations
- Issue SXEC admittance and registration forms for the first attempt at XRF examinations for initial certification
Some SXECs are also XRF Accepted Training Organizations, which can provide both XRF examination invigilation and XRF training. To register with an SXEC for an XRF examination, please contact one of the following SXECs for more information:
