Project Objectives

The objective of this project is to evaluate the technical feasibility of a sequestration hub in Central Alberta where no saline sequestration currently exists, allowing multiple sectors to leverage common infrastructure for effective emissions management.

Expected Results

This project expects to contribute towards future hub developments throughout western Canada, while boosting the talent pool for clean technology and carbon utilization.  The project also has the potential to contribute to positive socio-economic outcomes.
