Project Objectives

The Teetl’it Gwich’in Band Council is engaging with residents of the Teetl’it Gwich’in First Nation to create a community clean energy plan through community engagement in order to improve energy performance, enhance economic opportunities, reduce emissions and enhance the quality of life for the Teetl’it Gwich’in.

Expected Results

Through community engagement and direction from an advisory committee for the project, Teetl’it Gwich’in will explore the potential for green energy options, such as solar and biomass, that will create green jobs and benefit the community.
