Project Objectives
The objective of this project is to develop mobile auxiliary energy storage and distribution systems for heavy-duty electric trucks that provide auxiliary pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric energy to power job-site equipment such as lifts, drills, welders, saws, etc., that are essential for municipal, public and construction works.
Expected Results
This project aims to:
- Reduce emissions and noise pollution, improve air quality, and lower fuel costs by transitioning to electric work trucks for municipalities and construction fleets.
- Support clean technology sector growth, creating jobs and advancing Canada’s sustainability goals.
- Lower operational costs and improve efficiency through the adoption of electrified work trucks.
- Open new markets for clean technology and strengthen Canada’s green economy.
