Project Objectives

The objective of this project is to develop mobile auxiliary energy storage and distribution systems for heavy-duty electric trucks that provide auxiliary pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric energy to power job-site equipment such as lifts, drills, welders, saws, etc., that are essential for municipal, public and construction works.

Expected Results

This project aims to:

  1. Reduce emissions and noise pollution, improve air quality, and lower fuel costs by transitioning to electric work trucks for municipalities and construction fleets.
  2. Support clean technology sector growth, creating jobs and advancing Canada’s sustainability goals.
  3. Lower operational costs and improve efficiency through the adoption of electrified work trucks.
  4. Open new markets for clean technology and strengthen Canada’s green economy.
