Project Objectives

The objective of this project is to enable Canadian utilities to deploy thermal energy networks (TENs) by informing the policy and regulatory changes required through research, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge dissemination.

Project Objectives

This project aims to:

  1. Provide Canadians with publicly available research and analysis on TENs developments in the energy sector.
  2. Enable the implementation of TENs in Canada to give Canadians more affordable, reliable, and safe energy options.
  3. Generate and share TENs regulatory information tailored to Canadian jurisdictions to enhance local understanding.
  4. Enable more informed collaboration and decision-making regarding TENs, leading to better outcomes for the energy sector.
