The total array will have 4 MW of generation potential and this will be the largest solar farm in BC.

Expected Results

This project aims to:

  1. Replace diesel fuel with sustainable energy resources for power generation in a remote community, fostering economic, social and environmental benefits for more resilient Canadian communities.
  2. Generate revenue, create local jobs (construction and longer-term), and reduce greenhouse gas emissions and diesel spill risks.
