Project Objectives
The objective of this project is to increase the capacity of regulators and implementers to modernize demand-side management (DSM) strategies by publishing reports on program screening and evaluation, demand flexibility, and equity.
Expected Results
This project aims to:
- Provide publicly accessible information to help Canadians and energy sector decision-makers modernize DSM strategies, improving affordability, customer participation, and system responsiveness.
- Explore solutions to address First Nations utility arrears, promoting affordability and equity.
- Foster stakeholder collaboration on DSM’s role in achieving net-zero goals, leveraging digital technologies, and addressing emerging utility system challenges.
- Enhance stakeholder knowledge through reports, workshops, and research, enabling more informed decision-making.
