Project Objectives
The objective of the project is to build the Proponent’s capacity to support Canadian energy regulators in navigating energy transition and innovation challenges. It will also provide educational support to resource-constrained organizations, promoting meaningful participation in regulatory and energy decision-making.
Expected Results
This project aims to:
- Strengthen the knowledge and resources of regulators and decision-makers to enable informed decisions that promote affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy services for Canadians.
- Support capacity building and education for resource-constrained, equity-seeking groups, ensuring diverse and representative perspectives meaningfully inform decision-making processes.
- Equip energy regulators with tools and resources to address energy transition and innovation challenges effectively.
- Broaden stakeholder access to the Proponent's conferences, events, and energy regulation courses.
