Project Objectives

The objective of this project is to demonstrate how the use of an aggregated approach to deep energy retrofits can reduce the total cost of building ownership (TCBO) and reduce construction time using prefabricated exterior panels.

Expected Results

This project aims to:

  1. Improve energy efficiency, comfort, and quality in existing social housing while lowering long-term building ownership costs.
  2. Assess the feasibility and business case for Energiesprong-style panelized deep energy retrofits.
  3. Share key findings related to the social, environmental, and economic impacts of the demonstration project, including a total cost of building ownership analysis.
