Project Objectives

The objective of this project is to examine the cost-effectiveness of industrial heat decarbonization and how this may impact competitiveness in the context of Canada’s Net Zero goals.

Expected Results

This project aims to:

  1. Focus on industrial decarbonization through strong industry partnerships, enhancing data quality and real-world relevance. Results will be publicly available online.
  2. Support Canada’s Energy Modelling ecosystem by analyzing industrial competitiveness and decarbonization pathways.
