banner

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the launch of the Canadian adaptation of ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager®, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is recognizing those individuals and organizations that have been essential to the launch, uptake, and continued success of the Portfolio Manager benchmarking tool.

In December 2023, NRCan launched a call for nominations of individuals/teams and organizations that have made significant achievements and contributions over the last 10 years to the success of the adaptation and/or adoption of ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager in Canada.  This special recognition is awarded to those that have:

  • Played a major role in providing recommendations and information to enhance ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, including information for the development of scores for new building types.
  • Provided significant endorsement of ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager to their members.
  • Benchmarked a significant number of buildings/floor space in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager on an ongoing basis.
  • Played a significant role in the certification of a large number of buildings (LP, building owner, building manager).
