
The Newfoundland and Labrador Regional Energy and Resource Table launched on June 1, 2022. Through this Regional Table, the Government of Canada and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador – with the ongoing collaboration of Indigenous partners – have identified actions and areas of opportunity that will help build a prosperous clean economy in the province and contribute to Canada’s goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.

Framework for Collaboration on the Path to Net-Zero
Launched in March 2024, the Collaboration Framework outlines the shared long-term vision and areas for collaborative action in the short term under the 4 areas of opportunity
