What is Target Finder?

Target Finder is a free and easy-to-use online tool that can help you set building energy performance goals that can be used for existing buildings with established benchmarking data, or for new buildings during the design stage.

• Portfolio Manager now includes all the features of Target Finder. To use Target Finder from within Portfolio Manager, log in to your account, create or select a building, and go to its Design tab.

• A version of the tool also exists outside of the Portfolio Manager login. By accessing Target Finder from outside Portfolio Manager, you will still have access to basic system features of Target Finder – for both new and existing buildings – without having to log in or save data.

Key features

• All buildings can use Target Finder to set energy performance goals.
• For buildings not eligible for a 1-100 ENERGY STAR performance score, Target Finder can use energy use intensities (EUI) to set energy performance targets.
