The Sustainable Jobs Secretariat (Secretariat) is located within Natural Resources Canada and works closely with other federal departments and agencies to support workers and communities, the creation of sustainable jobs, and the growth of the low-carbon economy.
The Secretariat was established through the Canadian Sustainable Jobs Act with a mandate to facilitate good governance, engagement and accountability as laid out in the legislation.
