Deliverables
The Government of Canada is required by legislation to publish an action plan every 5 years describing how it will support workers, communities, and low-carbon economic growth.
The action plan will:
- outline government actions to promote economic growth, sustainable job creation, and support for workers and communities
- specify measures to be implemented
- summarize existing data and initiatives
- report on progress made on previous action plans
The first Sustainable Jobs Action Plan must be released by the end of 2025. It will be guided by the Government of Canada’s 2023 interim Sustainable Jobs Plan.
