Figure 1: Oil and Gas Approximate Expenditures by Funding Source, 2003-04 to 2008-09

Figure 1 shows a pie chart with the distribution of the approximate expenditures by Funding Source for  the Oil & Gas Sub-sub-Activity from 2003-04 to 2008-09. NRCan’s Oil and Gas Sub-sub Activity is funded by three sources: (1) Program of Energy Research and Development (PERD) $ 90.8 million, or 81.1 % of the total expenditures; (2) Climate Change Technology and Innovation (CCTI) $ 19.4 million, or 17.3 % of the total expenditures; and (3) EcoEnegry Technology Initiative (ecoETI) $ 1.8 million, or 1.6 % of the total expenditures.
