Alberta Innovates and Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) are investing in building technology-testing capacity through a collaborative Canadian Emissions Reduction Innovation Network (CERIN) program. The program will support targeted infrastructure investments at existing facilities or sites within Canada and the creation of consortia capable of connecting national expertise and facilities to an integrated network.
CERIN aims to accelerate the development, validation and deployment of technologies that reduce oil and gas sector emissions. It will help position Canada as a leader in developing exportable emissions management solutions and achieving cost-effective emissions reduction and regulatory compliance.
