Project Objectives

The Hamlet of Pangnirtung aims to raise community awareness about reducing diesel fuel consumption through outreach activities including: radio shows, community speakers, and other media formats. The project team will also create a community energy plan that outlines a path toward sustainable energy practices. The project seeks to instill a sense of empowerment and ownership within the community as members work together towards a more sustainable and self-reliant energy future.

Expected Results

The project's expected results include developing a community energy plan through community engagement sessions to identify renewable energy projects that reduce diesel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions in the community.
