Project Objectives
The aim of this project is to develop several aspects of the Energiesprong aggregated deep energy retrofit model to reduce carbon emissions from residential buildings in the Outaouais region, while generating concrete benefits for the region.
Expected Results
The project aims to:
- Contribute to Canada’s climate targets by 2030: reduce GHG emissions by 37% compared to 2005.
- Publish a regional roadmap to guide the implementation and expansion of aggregated deep energy retrofits, taking into account technical, regulatory, and financial aspects.
- Share knowledge, tools, and recommendations to promote the cost-effective deployment of aggregated deep energy retrofits in the Outaouais region.
- Diversify the offering in energy-efficient construction and renovation.
- Promote the creation of green jobs and the greening of construction trades.
