Project Objectives
Jobb Developments is a First Nations owned and operated business based in Saskatchewan that is implementing energy efficiency measures in single-family homes and a school in Kinoosao, SK. The project will focus on doing retrofits and home repairs to improve efficiency and reduce energy costs. Additionally, Jobb Developments is initiating a solar micro-grid feasibility study with NRStor.
Expected Results
This project is anticipated to have many benefits including local training and employment, local economic development, and mitigating climate change. This project is anticipated to save an estimated 127,100 litres of diesel each year. With support from SaskPower and NRStor, this project is an example of collaboration and building partnerships between Indigenous communities, private industry and utilities.
