Project Objectives
The project aims to transform a batch synthesis process, currently producing 100 to 150 grams at a time, into a continuous process that can generate 10 kg of hydrogen storage material each week. Once achieved, the project's initiator will construct and assess their initial 300-gram hydrogen storage system, seeking commercial certification.
Expected Results
This project aims to:
- Improve cost-effective hydrogen storage and transportation, bridging the gap between production and demand.
- Help promote better EDI practices across Canadian SMEs.
- Offer First Nation students skill development and career opportunities through internships in the H2M and UBC Okanagan hydrogen rail training program.
