Project Objectives

Nivatha Balendra, CEO and founder of Dispersa, has developed a way to harness a strain of microbes to produce non-toxic, palm-oil free, biodegradable surfactants. Dispersa’s biosurfactants have innovative uses in a variety of industries, from consumer packaged goods to restoring environmental damage from oil contamination.

Expected Results

Dispersa’s biosurfactants are expected to be able to be easily integrated into end-user formulations such as cleaning products, detergents, cosmetics and other chemical surfactant products.
