In response to a high level of interest in the Canada Greener Homes Grant, we are trying to keep the eligible product lists up-to-date. Regular quarterly updates to the Canada Greener Homes Grant searchable product list occur in March, June, September and December of each year. All updates will be made to ensure homeowners have access to grants for all products available that meet the performance criteria set by the initiative. These updates also acknowledge innovation and advancements made by manufacturers as they improve technology performance for new models. All eligible product lists are available in an online searchable format, linked from the Canada Greener Homes Grant website.
Windows and doors
To receive a grant, you must purchase windows and doors that are ENERGY STAR® certified and appear on the lists included here. ENERGY STAR certified means that the model meets or exceeds the ENERGY STAR certification levels. Each qualified model comes with a temporary label showing that the unit is ENERGY STAR certified.
Do not remove the ENERGY STAR labels until after your post-retrofit evaluation. These labels help your energy advisor confirm that the product you have installed is ENERGY STAR certified.
Consult the lists of windows and doors to choose an eligible ENERGY STAR certified model.
