NRCan’s Deep Retrofit Accelerator Initiative (DRAI) provides funding to organizations (i.e. “retrofit accelerators”) that help building owners in the development of deep retrofits in commercial, institutional, and mid- or high-rise multi-unit residential buildings in Canada. The following organizations have received funding through this program.
Alberta Ecotrust is reducing barriers to decarbonizing existing buildings by uniting deep retrofit and asset management planning, building market capacity, and offering deep retrofit support services to commercial, institutional, and multi-unit residential building owners in Alberta.
BOMA Canada's national deep retrofit accelerator program supports commercial building owners and managers in advancing energy efficiency and transition to low-carbon building operations. While open to all asset classes, the program is designed primarily for Class B and C buildings across Canada, providing technical support, tools, resources, and financial support to overcome barriers to retrofits. Through capacity building, awareness programs, and direct project support, BOMA Enspire aims to advance and accelerate adoption of energy efficiency and emission reduction measures across the commercial real estate industry in Canada.

Fédération québécoise des municipalités (FQM)
