This is accomplished through both R&D and outreach, including training and capacity-building.

CanmetENERGY’s Industrial Systems Optimization Program develops, manages, and implements a robust portfolio that addresses industrial requirements throughout the technology development cycle. It is based on high-return R&D projects, validation and verification of technological benefits, dissemination of energy efficiency technologies and practices, as well as capacity-building efforts.
