What is the Green Jobs - Science and Technology Internship Program?
Green Jobs - STIP supports young Canadians to gain relevant and meaningful work experiences in the natural resource sectors related to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (or, STEM), through hands-on experience and mentorship via paid internships.
Green Jobs are internships that protect the environment or create positive environmental outcomes, such as:
- Monitoring the mine reclamation process to ensure forest growth; or
- Designing novel wind energy systems.
Green Jobs help to address environmental issues while preparing young people for their career in the Green Economy.
