Canada-EU Workshop on Energy Efficiency (March 3-4, 2020)
From March 3-4, NRCan’s Office of Energy Efficiency (OEE) will host the European Union (EU) in Ottawa to deliver a two-day Workshop on Energy Efficiency in buildings and housing. Part of the Canada-European Union High-Level Energy Dialogue (HLED), this workshop will promote the sharing of best practices and experiences on energy efficiency policy.
This year’s workshop will focus on topics such as future-proofing buildings, preparing the workforce, and smart cities and buildings as smart energy hubs. A similar workshop focused on mandatory energy disclosure and labelling in buildings was delivered by the EU in Ottawa in 2017, and this year’s workshop will build on its success.
