Supporting the international science community in crisis situations by:

connecting scientists in the natural resources sector with temporary employment opportunities in Canada, enabling research to continue during crisis situations. These situations may include conflict, natural disasters, and other threats to safe, continued research activities.
strengthening medium- and long-term international scientific collaboration
assisting, in the short term, in connecting scientists with research opportunities in Canada
assisting, in the medium term and the long term, in rebuilding science capacity in scientists’ home countries
