National Hydro Network (NHN) - 245 new watersheds (WS)

Summary : Publication of 245 NHN datasets including: 74 NHN-CL3 watersheds.

With the publication of these new watersheds, nearly 20% of watersheds covering Canada has been improved, allowing better analysis of hydrological networks.

Details:

• 4 watersheds have been updated, using orthophotos and imagery (05OD000, 05OH001, 05OH002 and 05OG000)
• 10 Canada/USA bi-national watersheds were regenerated
• 74 watersheds have been improved into NHN-CL3
• 8 watersheds were produced to correct anomalies.

Furthermore, in maintenance effort, 149 watersheds were re-generated following watershed limits redefinitions.
