TLG-1, a sample of a low-grade scheelite ore from Browne's Lake mine, Beaverhead County, Montana, was donated by General Electric Company, Cleveland, Ohio. In decreasing order of abundance, minerals present are: quartz, calcite, hydrogarnet, amphibole, dolomite, chlorite, feldspar, mica, clay minerals, scheelite, hematite, magnetite, sphalerite, and chalcopyrite.

A certificate of analysis will be issued with each order of TLG-1. A copy of CANMET Report 76-5, "Tungsten ores CT-1, BH-1 and TLG-1: Their characterization and preparation for use as certified reference materials", will be forwarded, free of charge, on request to the Coordinator, CCRMP.
