Abstract

This report presents an assessment of the influence of certain parameters, such as seasonal temperature variations or water heater type, on the energy and power consumption of a community of approximately 160 electric water heaters. Installed in Sherbrooke, Quebec, these devices were equipped with an intelligent controller which allowed for temperature and current data collection, from 2018 to 2020.
