Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program – Delivery Organizations - Temporarily Closed

About

Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP) for delivery organizations (also known as, Initial Recipients) further distribute ZEVIP funds to “Ultimate Recipients” to install electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in public places, on-street, in multi-unit residential buildings, at workplaces, or for on-road vehicle fleets. The third-party delivery approach allows Initial Recipients to redistribute a portion of the ZEVIP funding to Ultimate Recipients for smaller, more localised EV infrastructure projects (less than $100,000) where Canadians live, work and play.

Eligibility

Eligible recipients* under the ZEVIP for delivery organizations program include:

Initial Recipients

  • provincial, territorial, regional, or municipal governments, their institutions, agencies, and Crown corporations (including public utilities)
  • not-for-profit organizations validly incorporated or registered in Canada

Ultimate Recipients

Legal entities validly incorporated or registered in Canada or abroad, including not-for-profit and for-profit organizations such as:

  • companies
  • condo boards
  • Indigenous businesses or communities
  • public institutions
  • provincial, territorial, regional, or municipal governments or their departments or agencies

Not eligible

Federal organizations, such as federal departments, federal Crown corporations, or federal agencies are not eligible recipients under the ZEVIP Program.

* For more details about eligibility and technical requirements, please consult the applicant guide.

How to apply

NOTICE: Due to popular demand, the ZEVIP Delivery Organization Stream is currently oversubscribed. We are not accepting applications for Initial Recipient projects at this time. For future updates, please visit our program calendar.
