The Home Depot Canada recognizes that their biggest opportunity to create positive environmental change comes from the products they sell. As such, consumers can find a wide array of ENERGY STAR certified products including appliances, commercial products, electronics, windows and doors, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and lighting.
Key 2025 accomplishments include:
- sold nearly 690,000 certified products, representing a 30% year-over-year growth in ENERGY STAR appliances alone
- expanded its ENERGY STAR certified assortment to more than 3,600 products across nearly all eligible categories, including the addition of more than 400 new certified products to provide customers with greater energy-efficient choices
- partnered with 8 provincial rebate programs to offer instant point-of-sale rebates on ENERGY STAR certified products
- launched a two-week ENERGY STAR certified appliance campaign to increase consumer adoption and awareness resulting in over 24 million paid and organic impressions and more than 2,000 webpage visits

efficiencyPEI encourages energy efficiency and the benefits it delivers to the economic, social, and environmental well-being of Prince Edward Island residents and the businesses that serve them.
Key 2025 accomplishments include:
- supported the installation of over 15,000 ENERGY STAR certified products as a part of their Winter Warming Program for over 1,500 low-to-moderate income islanders
- completed two Instant Savings campaigns, which provided in-store rebates on over 31,500 ENERGY STAR certified units in 2025 and resulted in over 2 gigawatt-hours of energy savings
- promoted ENERGY STAR through coordinated in-store advertising, radio and social media, increasing visibility of the ENERGY STAR label and encouraging participation in rebate programs
- developed the PEI Net Zero Navigator to help islanders identify ENERGY STAR certified products and to understand which products worked best for their homes
- supported the installation of over 1,100 ENERGY STAR certified windows, doors and skylights in homes across PEI through the Home Insulation Rebate program
- supported the installation of approximately 7,600 eligible high-efficiency heat pumps, including ENERGY STAR certified models, and over 140 additional ENERGY STAR certified products, including HRVs and geothermal heat pumps, through rebate and income-qualified programs
- advanced ENERGY STAR awareness, adoption and energy-efficiency education through strategic partnerships and contractor engagement initiatives, including the Better Homes Neighbourhood Energy Project with the City of Charlottetown, providing residents with free energy audits, one-on-one energy consulting and a Winter Warming package

Independent Electricity System Operator–Save on Energy
The Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) delivers key services across Ontario’s electricity sector. These include managing the province’s power system in real-time, planning for Ontario’s future energy needs, delivering energy-efficiency programs and designing a more efficient electricity marketplace to support sector evolution.
Through the Save on Energy brand, the IESO offers programs and incentives to help individuals and businesses use energy more wisely and achieve greater energy efficiency.
Key 2025 accomplishments include:
- ran always-on marketing campaigns and four yearly programs, Peak Perks Program, Instant Discounts Program, Retrofit Program and the Small Business Program, to promote ENERGY STAR certified products combining targeted marketing, stakeholder partnerships, customer research, energy assessments, outreach activities and financial incentives to engage residential and business customers across Ontario
- the Save on Energy Peak Perks program enrolled 100,897 new ENERGY STAR certified smart thermostats registrations, for a total of 306,229 devices enrolled in the program since June 2023, resulting in over 200 MW of demand response capacity that helps the IESO manage its system needs
- significantly increased marketing campaigns to promote Save on Energy programs with ENERGY STAR products:
- the Energy Affordability Program delivered 212,000 ENERGY STAR certified products to income-eligible electricity consumers, including ENERGY STAR certified refrigerators, freezers, window air conditioners, lighting and more
- the Home Renovation Savings program, delivered by Save on Energy and Enbridge, launched the appliance stream rebate, offering incentives on the purchase of ENERGY STAR Most Efficient certified appliances, with the funding of the appliance stream being provided solely by Save on Energy
- leveraged partnerships with manufacturers, distributors, trade allies, contractors, utilities, community organizations and Indigenous communities to promote ENERGY STAR certified products

They customize each product and installation service to meet their client’s specific architectural requirements.
Key 2025 accomplishments include:
- integrated ENERGY STAR performance metrics directly into customer quotes, contracts and marketing material, while increasing awareness of ENERGY STAR concepts including efficiency ratings and long-term savings through customer interactions
- enhanced product offering by prioritizing ENERGY STAR certified products
- aligned sales and customer education efforts with available government rebates to make ENERGY STAR Most Efficient certified windows and doors more affordable for consumers
- experienced a 16% overall increase in sales of ENERGY STAR certified products, reflecting a growing consumer demand for energy efficient products
- implemented large-scale promotion of the ENERGY STAR brand and certified product benefits through the distribution of over 9 million printed materials and expanded showroom network (from 4 to 6) to improve direct customer education and product accessibility

Special Recognition – 2026
All Weather at Home
Founded in 1978 in Edmonton, Alberta, All Weather at Home is one of Canada’s largest privately owned and operated manufacturers of residential windows and doors. Formerly known as All Weather Windows, the company is built on a proud legacy of strong partnerships, long-standing relationships, and a deep connection to the communities they serve.
With customer solution centres in seven cities, and a growing network of nearly 700 dealer partners across Western Canada, All Weather at Home produces a full range of energy efficient and sustainable window and door products.
Key 2025 accomplishments include:
- advanced product innovation through collaboration with Corning, introducing high-performance glazing technology that increased thermal performance in qualifying product configurations from approximately R6 to R11
- delivered 12 All Weather at Home University education sessions to 111 dealer participants, integrating ENERGY STAR education into product performance training within their product performance discussions, strengthening partner knowledge and confidence in communicating energy efficiency benefits
- grew sales of ENERGY STAR certified windows and doors, supported by increased builder adoption and continued demand in both new construction and renovation markets
- maintained consistent ENERGY STAR brand visibility across marketing materials, digital platforms, showrooms and dealer resources, reinforcing consumer recognition of ENERGY STAR as a trusted symbol of energy efficiency and product performance

The company offers efficient and effective heat pump, tankless, high-efficiency gas water heaters and more that help Canadians reduce energy consumption while maintaining reliable hot water performance.
Key 2025 accomplishments include:
- expanded ENERGY STAR certified tankless water heater portfolio, offering more capacities and configurations to serve a wider range of residential applications across Canada
