Support for Ukraine-based scientists
In response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has hired Ukraine-based science and technology professionals in temporary positions within the department. This initiative focuses on strengthening science collaborations between Canada and Ukraine in fields including oil and gas, critical minerals, forestry, marine geoscience, and earth observation.
Thank you for your interest. The initiative has achieved its objective of hiring 20 Ukraine-based science and technologies professionals and is not currently accepting applications. Any changes to this status will be identified on this page.
NRCan will continue to support science around the world and is exploring how to further strengthen its role in the international science community.
